Peaks of the Week

Despite weather that feels more like mid-summer, Catherine decided to embrace the spirit of fall and spend the day apple picking. About a 35-minute drive from Ottawa, Mountain Orchard provided her crew with an amusing afternoon and an arm-full of delicious apples to take home.

This week the nuts said goodbye to September with an amazing BBQ birthday bash (planned and perfectly executed by Meg). Beers were flowing, it was a particularly warm autumn evening and we also got to visit with an old, dear friend!

Despite living in the heart of downtown Toronto, Jess’ early morning weekend coffee runs with the dog prove that there are a select few sunlit hours when you almost have the city to yourself.

Last weekend, Meghan planned and executed a surprise party for her beau’s Birthday! They had a backyard pig roast and a tiki bar set up. The best part was the surprise – where 30 of Shaun’s closest friends popped up from behind the pool! Meghan won tons of brownie points for pulling this off!

A definite highlight of this week was entering the world of Wedding Registries for the first time. The selection and service at The Bay was exquisite and we can’t wait to go back this weekend for some editing and more faux shopping!

Enjoy the first weekend of October, nuts! xo
