October was pretty unpredictable when it came to weather, but with November comes the certainty that, even when the sun is out, the cooler temps are here to stay. That being said, I figured it was time for another installment in our series about what we’re doing…right now. In this case, I polled the nuts for the items that are currently on their wish lists when it came to fall fashion. Let’s face it, November is the last time to shop for yourself before you inevitably turn your thoughts (and wallets) towards holiday gifts!
Kate is currently craving this gorgeous coat from Club Monaco that will take her all the way to winter. She loves the textured material, the cut of the coat and the accent leather sleeves make this a home-run for Kate’s fall/winter wardrobe.
Jess is currently craving Jenny Bird’s Dionysus Coin Bracelet. The dynamic Toronto designer is famous for her ability to pair old with new, gold with silver, chain with medallion – all which can be seen in her fabulously chunky line of Greek God-themed pieces. It’s also no coincidence that she’s eyeballing jewelry featuring the God of Wine on it.
Catherine mused that, if there’s one thing she doesn’t need to purchase, it’s a new coat. She hoards coats. She probably has 10 different winter coats. But for some reason, every store she passes – with their cute and cozy window displays full of stylish outwear – makes her pine for a new one. This J. Crew Chateau Parka is “only” $418. Totally worth it for something she doesn’t need, right?
Ever since Kaylee discovered Bauble Bar, she is a true convert and can’t help but fall for the brand’s ever-evolving stock of unique jewels, each reasonably priced and pointedly on-trend. She bought this pair of 360 Pearl Studs (inspired by those Dior beauties) and have not stopped getting compliments. Her next lust-worthy item has to be these Turquoise Drop Earrings, to spice up any cold winter day.
Personally, I’m obsessed with this season for the scarf fashion. For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with adorning scarves of all shapes, sizes, textures and colours. As we come into the colder months, you can be sure to find me sporting one of my FOUR (!!) Krista Norris scarves or this beauty that I have been eyeing from Zara. I’m loving that blanket scarves are being featured on some of my favourite style blogs and this one has beautiful colours and is sure to keep me cozy.
