It doesn’t matter whether we’re discussing a new restaurant, DIY project, fashion trend, the latest album or episode of the Bachelor – we always bring the conversation back to one main point:
This blog is built on love.
Through every word typed, every picture taken, every story shared, in a nutshell is a collection of thoughts about a friendship that is so special, so unique, so soul saving, that it‘s kept us together through multiple moves, miles and life changes.
The saying goes that mothers are only as happy as their saddest child, but I believe – when you’re lucky enough to have a group of supporters that is so tight-knit, and cares about each other so eternally – a person is only as happy as their saddest best friend.
For personal reasons, we have taken this past week off from posting on in a nutshell, but this short note is just here to remind you to value the friendships in your life – through the good times and the bad – and to tell you that we’ll be back, stronger than ever.
Because, in a nutshell, tough times don’t last – but real friends, and the love they have to offer, do.
