This week, Catherine’s Toronto family visited for Thanksgiving and time spent with her baby niece is always cherished. Story time with Goodnight Moon, trying out new toys and supervising Charlotte’s attempts to roll over dominated Catherine’s weekend and her heart. Look at that face…
Over Thanksgiving weekend, Kaylee visited Chateau Montebello with her family and fiancé. They enjoyed the hotel’s delicious food and took in its stunning natural sights. The most exciting part was deciding this would be the perfect place to say “I Do” in 2015!
Between puppies, engagement party planning, vacations, long weekends, work and everything else in between, Jess appreciates any week when a little bestie time (including wine and cheese) can be squeezed in. Because, at the end of the day, busy weeks are really just filled with stuff and noise, but time with your best friends is the real deal.
Some automotive troubles this week led Kate to travel her city by foot on a couple of occasions. But with the balmy weather Ottawa has been experiencing lately she didn’t mind at all and was reminded how pretty Ottawa is, especially after a storm.
Not usually a last-minute gal, this week I went against the grain. When a ticket to the Ottawa Senator’s home-opener was suddenly up for grabs with only a few hours until the puck-drop, I couldn’t help but seize the moment. Even though I usually cheer for a rival team (Go Leafs Go), I was happy to support my hometown heroes last night. The atmosphere at the Canadian Tire Centre was electric and the crowd exploded during the third period as the Sens scored three goals and secured their first home game win of the season.
You can expect that all of the nuts will have a similar peak next week. This weekend, all five of us will be reunited in the same place since July. The Ottawa nuts are making the trek to Toronto to shower Kaylee and her fiancé (!!) with some love.
