I hate to admit it, but it had been a while …
It had been a while since I put my busy life on hold, bought a bottle of wine, lit some candles, locked the front door, stripped down and …
…. had a bath.
With Spring Fever in the air, and my big night ahead of me, I took the plunge and invited Chuck to join me.
Tall, dark, handsome and smelling great, I thought he’d be the perfect companion for my night of Tender Lovin’ Care.
After all, you don’t need the Ottawa Citizen mobile weather report to tell you that this winter has been hellish on us (but you should totally read it, cuz it’s F-ing hilarious). Our 613 skin has been frozen, thawed, snowed on and worn out, and I knew my bae, Chuck, wasn’t about to let me waltz into summer with dry skin and absolutely no semblance of a radiant glow.
What a thoughtful guy.
Ready to meet him?
Hai.
Chuck belongs to the cScrubs family, an all-natural coffee-based exfoliant that uses essential oils to help bring health benefits to your body.
Ground coffee is proven to improve circulation and blood flow. It helps reduce dry skin and conditions like psoriasis, eczema and cellulite.
Shall I repeat the last one? Cellulite. Bathing suit season is fast approaching, my friends.
So with all the boys on deck: Carl, Chuck, Chase and Cooper–who do you choose?
Rumour has it that Chuck’s brother, Carl, uses his Peppermint and Cacao sauve to give you an addictive tingling and cooling sensation.
But, I opted for sweet Chuck … considering it was my first time.
Cinnamon and spice and everything niiiiice.
Vanilla-rich, Chuck romances your skin with a soothing touch that remedies cuts, burns and blemishes. Vitamin B rich, he exfoliates your dry, dead skin and brings blood and nutrients to the skin’s surface which helps dry oily skin.
So here I am, nervously clutching Chuck. Now what?
I quickly realize he’s not a laid back dude. No lounging in the tub for this guy. I had to stand up and do work.
A few minutes later, and I’m a hot mess. Coffee everywhere. My bathroom smells like the inside of Martha Stewart’s oven. I am exercising extreme self restraint in trying to not sample Chuck to see what he tastes like.
I give in. Whoops. He’s yummy. (A little salty, though.)
One of the advantages of using the cScrubs boys is that they are as gentle or as rough as you make them. If you dabble two to four times a week, it’s said that your body will have never felt better.
After taking a myriad of unsuccessful sexy selfies, and balancing my $700 camera somewhere between my chin and one coffee-clad hand, I decide it’s finally time to rinse.
And just like that, my shower looks back to normal. I smell like a goddess and my skin is glowing.
Chuck, you sly devil, you! Just one night and I’ve already fallen for him.
You know how much the in a nutshell girls love the “L” bomb … cScrubs are Local. Owners Celina Mziray and Troy Duncan produce cSrcubs in Ottawa and then spread the wealth with the rest of North America through their online store.
To get your very own bath-time friend (or newly released lip plumping scrub–pucker up!), visit www.cscrubs.com. Your mail-order beau can be yours for as little as $6.95 + shipping.
I’d say that’s a steal for a wild night of giving your body a little lovin’.
As for me and Chuck? Date number two is scheduled for tonight.
I will definetly try chuck and the boys out. Thanks
