Do you have a recommendation for getting groups of 4-6 from Havana to Varadero? Hate the little un-airconditioned pseudo-taxis, which is how I did it last year. Like a travel company that does one way charter buses?? I’ve only seen the round trip charters

We are just looking at the holiday you did in Cuba, multi centre. Now you gave come back, how did you find it. What was the cost of food and drink like in Havana. Any help you can give us, would be much appreciated.

I too Enjoyed your article Kate. Very informative. My husband and I will be travelling to Cuba in Jan/Feb 2016 for a total of 2 weeks.
We arrive in Havana and will be there 3 nights, 10 in Varadero and one last day in .Havana before flying home the following day..
As with the question from the previous comment from Carol, we too would like to hear what you would suggest for booking the same tours she inquired about.
And we are ‘young’ seniors in good health as well.

Thanks Kate for so much helpful information. My husband and I are going to Cuba Feb. 6-20 2016…..3 nights in Havana and the remainder in Varadero. My question to you is should I book a tour before leaving or wait until arrival? There seem to be a number of 5* companies on Trip Advisor. I would like a relaxed small personalized tour of Havana and possibly a day trip to Vinales without breaking the bank! I like to explore and get away from the tourists when I’m on holiday. We are Seniors in good health.
