If you’ve followed the blog for a little while, you know there’s nothing we love more than exciting events in our city and supporting a good cause. Luckily, we’ve been invited to check out BASH NOIR, a night of naughtiness, espionage and passion. On June 20, BASH NOIR will be held new Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park and promises to be an amazing time.
The theme is Film Noir and the set up is going to be elaborate. I’m talking multiple DJs, performances, and a fashion show featuring designers Aria Frances and Claude Lauriault. ACE Mercado has carefully curated the menu and we were lucky enough to sample it in advance – trust me, it’s to die for. There will also be a champagne bar, a themed Café-Bistro and professional mixologists on hand to make sure you get your fill. To make the night even more memorable, there will be a black and white photo booth…and so, so much more.
This event promises to be like nothing we’ve seen in Ottawa before and the best part is that it will benefit the Snowsuit Fund of Ottawa. The Snowsuit Fund makes sure that kids across our city stay warm throughout the winter, by distributing over 16,000 snowsuits to those in need. After the winter we just had, inanutshell is thrilled to be supporting such a good cause.
Tickets are almost sold out, so visit BASHNOIR for more info and to get your hands on some before it’s too late! We hope to see you there!
Dress Code – Noir inspired outfits are encouraged (not mandatory) for this year’s BASH NOIR. You can go from a simple black dress, or dress shirt and tie, to a full 1950’s film noir detective costume, or a femme fatale ensemble.
