Even though the weather forecast doesn’t seem to be projecting a white Christmas, we still think that a nice hot bevvy is exactly what we need to put us into the holiday spirit. While the classic coffee and Bailey’s is always a good idea, we’ve compiled a list of some extra-special concoctions that are sure to please any of your holiday guests over the next week or so.
While the old saying goes that you shouldn’t mess with a good thing, adding a bit of pumpkin pie spice and some whip cream to the old classic is DEFINITELY a good idea!
Ingredients:
2 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
4 oz. Strongly Brewed Coffee
1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
Garnish with Whipped Cream and a dash of Pumpkin Pie Spice
Basically, this is the cocktail version of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange. You’re welcome.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Grand Marnier
4 oz. Hot Cocoa
Garnish with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick
A few years back, our Toronto babes set out to make their own mulled wine and the results were delicious! This is a bit more of an involved recipe – check out the post for step-by-step instructions!

6 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
5 cardamom pods
150ml of Ginger Wine
1 bottle of fruity red wine
150g caster sugar (we used natural sugar, and about half of that)
A pinch of nutmeg
4. Apple Cider and Tequila Hot Toddy
Have a cold? Have a wild night out planned? Either way, this tequila version of a hot toddy is sure to clear your sinuses and a space for you on the dance floor!

1/2 cup tequila

The holidays are pretty much the only time you could get away with drinking warm butter as a beverage … so take advantage. For this recipe simply blend butter, sugar & spices, add rum, boiling water & finish with a dash of orange juice. Yummmm.
Ingredients:
Stick of butter
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
6 oz Dark Rum
3 cups boiling water
fresh orange juice
