Mark Your Calendars: Toronto’s Must-See Holiday Markets

The Holiday season is upon us, and Toronto is looking more and more festive as we near the end of November. Nothing screams Holiday joy more than a Christmas market, and Toronto is not lacking in this department. Of the many gifting shows and Holiday markets hosted in our city, here are the top four we think you should not miss!

One of a Kind Show, Exhibition Place: November 27th to December 7th

With over 800 vendors setting up shop at Exhibition Place for this 10-day show, there is no shortage of stimuli in the form of everything from pillows, bird houses, ornaments, ceramics, chocolate, and just about anything else you can think of. I went to the One of a Kind Show for the first time last year, and I have to caution that prices can run high, but it’s definitely the place to be if you’re looking for unique, homemade gifts, or just want to spend an afternoon browsing. Tickets are $12 for adults. Pick up a re-admission pass before leaving if you want to use your ticket again to visit the show.

Hours:

Monday to Saturday – 10am to 9pm
Sunday – 10am to 6pm

Toronto Christmas Market, Distillery District: November 28th to December 21st

The Toronto Christmas Market is a favourite for many Torontonians, including us TO nuts. It transforms the already beautiful Distillery District into a magical place with carols, hot chocolate, fire pits, pop-up shops, beer markets, and that big, highly photographed, Christmas tree. It’s the perfect place for a late night stroll with a cup of mulled wine, and is sure to impress any Holiday visitors you’re hosting.

Hours:

Tuesday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 9pm
