I love nothing more than showing off a good mani/pedi in the warm summer months. We spend so much of our year bundled in socks and shoes, that once July and August role around, I’m thrilled to break out pretty sandals and show off my toes. While I enjoy keeping my nails painted year-round, I definitely put more effort into my polish choices in the warmer months. Personally, I’m not a fan of matchy-matchy polishes. What goes on my toes is almost NEVER on my fingers at the same time. Read on for some of my favourite colour combos that are sure to keep your mani/pedi fresh before the warm weather fades away.
Note that I have gravitated towards Essie and OPI polishes because they are two of my favourite brands!

OK so Barb says OPI has a new line out that is all Venice-themed? She was so excited in light of our honeymoon. I wanna see these colours – did you get them Meghan???
Also, I own almost all of the polishes mentioned in the post… not sure if I could be proud of ashamed. And I will look into that top coat!
Despite nail polish taking over my entire medicine cabinet, I feel there is nothing to be ashamed of. There is a new line of Venice-inspired OPI products being released and I have requested them to review. Fingers crossed OPI delivers shortly! The latest line I received is their “Infinite Shine Soft Shades” which came in last night – we’ll be trying them out over the next few weeks!
